I had a quick 4 day 3 nights trip to Hong Kong for seminar.....and had the luxury to stay at J.W. Marriot at Admiralty. It was a wonderful experience except that I didn't have time for shopping!!!!
This is a very nice statue at Conrad Hotel. It is beside an old banyan tree. My boss brought me to this statue on Wednesday night...as it was quite dark, I could only see the profiles and was wondering why he was asking us to interrupt the love birds when he started laughing and explaining that this is a statue and not real people!!!!

For the formal dinner at Conrad, the dress code was smart casual...however, not many bothered to dress up...I wore the dress that I bought at Bugis Village that I couldn't find an occasion to wear in Singapore....
I have really put on weight as I couldnt' fit into many of my other dresses....think I have to look for other presentable dresses so as not to be caught in such a situation again!
Some photos taken on the ferry from Hong Kong Island (Central) to Kowloon (Tsim Shai Tsui). This evening, we went to Temple Street Night Market...it was a place that my boss and his wife wanted to go....so I just followed them....it was interesting to see him interacting with his wife. Cos based on my 4 days' understanding of him, he seems like the perfect husband. However, his wife commented that he just walks in front by himself without waiting for her...while he was reading the map and searching for the place.
Actually from reading the map, I felt that the place was pretty far from the ferry terminal but he juz walked on...finally he realised that it was too far to walk and luckily the MTR exits were everywhere...so we could still go back to the Tsim Shai Tsui station and traveled 1 stop to Jordan.
The place was ok...not very big...prob cos we were quite early and many stalls were not open yet...after that we went to a Cha chan ding for dinner...the servings were quite big and the price was not cheap...about HK$25 which is about S$5. After that we juz walked around but couldn't really see any nice department stores that we could visit until about 10pm and the shops were closed by then...so no shopping conquests.
Touchdown HK. On the airport express on the way to the hotel. Turbulent flight! and also delayed 1 hr due to bad weather...
On the journey there, I watched The Holiday starring Jude Law, Joe Black, Cameron Diaz & the female lead from Titantic...juz can't remember her name at the moment! (Finally remembered it...Kate Winslet)
It was quite a nice movie....and of cos....interesting cos of JUDE LAW...and it is always amazing that love can juz happen when least expected....
