Searched high and low for my prince....he was not at his usual resting place in my room....nor in the living room....back in my room, I searched all corners....still couldn't find him. :(

Dad said that he hasn't seen my prince around and said perhaps I didn't bring him home in the 1st place....and i suddenly rem'd that I asked Coach to restring my prince....so forgetful of me....

Perhaps due to the new strings, today's tennis was better than the last, at least I managed to get the balls across the court...and even some good shots too...hopefully there would be more improvements

Having watched 2 installations of Dim Sum Dollies, I wasn't really interested to watch another installation...however, decided to go again when L said that it should be quite nice since it is a re-run, and she was getting tickets for us....10 in all.

Well, I muz say that I still enjoyed myself ...the thing about Night Time U Come Comfort Women etc... :P

As usual, I was late and rushed into the theatre at the last minute...when I opened the theatre door, I discovered that my seat was the 1st seat on the 1st balcony on the left of the stage....although it was very close to the stage, I felt the angle was too sharp...making the view abit blocked....and since the seats on the balcony was movable, and we had the whole balcony to ourselves, we started shifting the seats around to see whether we could get a better view. :)

After moving the seat to the back, I realised that I was blocked by the railings so we had to move the seat back to the original position....next we pushed all the seats as far back from the stage as the balcony allowed leaving no gaps in between the seats...that was the best positioning we discovered...I believe we provided extra entertainment for those on Circles 2 and 3 of the theatre...before the lights dimmed...

Due to our angle to the stage, we all felt abit stiff when we reached the intermission. It is a good thing that L bought 10 tickets with 8 of us in 2 balonies..so we decided to exchange seats with our friends who were seated in the balcony opposite (i.e to the right of the stage)...so that we can balance our stiff necks. :P It was quite worth our $ to have the experience of 2 different views of the theatre.

Sure enough, when we met up with L and L1, after the show, who were seated in the normal circle seats ...they commented that they saw us moving the seats around when I arrived...hopefully, nobody else saw us. :P

Was never really crazy over soya bean drink...and prefer the beancurd to the drink. Hence, was really surprised that I started to like it and craved for it....and want to drink it whenever I see soya bean been sold....perhaps this craving has contributed to the extra 4kg appeared on the scales mysteriously ... :P

Somehow feel like a useless fellow today...perhaps always have been...:( Juz that it wasn't manifested to me earlier...

1stly, received an email this morning that an email i sent b4 leaving the office yesterday was in a wrong currency. I don't know why I am always so careless and assuming that things sent to me are in S$. The matter is actually a simple matter, if not for the fact that the email was sent to the CFO and the numbers furnished to the CEO.

In the afternoon, in the process of giving my immediate boss figures, I somehow informed her that it was a loss when it was actually a profit. Luckily, she had her logically sense on her and detected the mistake. Somehow, the blockhead between my ears was not working again....really wonder why it juz refused to work for such situations....at least the mistake was not reported upwards due to my sharp boss.

Today, I also discovered that I had accepted the figures provided to me at face value, without thinking and without doing a sanity check. It should have struck me that the figures given earlier and later were too different and hence raise the alarm. However, as usual, I just accepted the figures and reported them upwards....

Really hope that this lesson is well-learnt and this blockhead would learn to be more sharp in future...

Today, whilst on the way to work....these thoughts came to mind....I hope that I continue to be thankful for everything given to me and not complain....

I hope that I continue to be appreciative for everything around me....in the event that I feel like grousing...it would be time for me to implement some changes in my life.

Since I have a few postings on the visits to the doctor...think I also have to update on my recovery...thanks to all who were concerned about my health. :P

I am up and about and able to enjoy new year's goodies again. :P

Rash from allergy to med: betopic + zyrtec d

Medical leave: 1 day to sleep :)

Shopped almost everyday when I was in Taipei...totally tally: 1 winter jacket, 2 autumn tops, 1 summer top, 2 pairs of shoes, cosmetics and Little Twin Stars and other cute characters stuff.
:)

Too bad that didn't manage to get more working clothes...so still have no new office clothes. :(

Would like to blog about my reunion dinner today...

We had it in a restaurant near my grandfather's place....the hall was so big...likely to fit at least 100 tables...and the restaurant had it on 2 floors...2nd floor and 9th floor.

The lobby was getting so crowded with all the people wanting to take the lift up to the 9th floor....luckily the restaurant people were quick-thinking and brought all the customers to the big industrial lift which could fit in at least 30-40 people.

It is quite an eye-opener to see how the Taiwanese reunion dinner is held...there was even 2 MCs, a Bingo game, and characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse giving out candy to kids....it seems more like an organised annual dinner than a reunion dinner. Quite interesting....

Well, guess things are done differently when we get out of Singapore and it is all these differences that make it so interesting to travel out of Singapore

Found out that I put on 2.5kg after Christmas....

Now...I wonder whether I would put on more weight with the constant supply of delicious food....

Today, was supposed to have lunch at Ding Tai Feng...cause I've never tried the Taiwan version...however, went we arrived, we found that it has already closed for the new year holidays... :(

However, still had nice dim sum lunch... :) and also had a chance to have my favourite mee suan....

Have not bought many things after so many days...only bought a pair of shoes today....hopefully will be able to have more results tomorrow. :P

Today is Lunar New Year's Eve...here's wishing all readers of my blog Blessed Lunar New Year!

This is the 1st time I have a cold Lunar New Year...the house here is freezing...I am already wearing thermal + sweater + jacket...yet still feel frozen....I wonder whether I can survive in subzero weather........
It is good the theme park here is not very crowded...at least we don't have to wait hours to get onto a ride...this time, I only went for 2 thrilling rides ...one that turns round and round and upside down... and another that has a vertical drop... things happened so fast that I didn't even have time to react! :P

This is the first time that I am spending Lunar New Year in Taipei…however, I think it is not the prospect of spending New Year there, but is the thought of a break…a holiday that makes me so excited….

Packed til 2am yesterday and then this morning woke up at 7am naturally to continue packing….guess I would be able to sleep well on the plane….:)

Somehow, always feel very sad that I have to spend Lunar New Year in KL. Although I get to go shopping and watch TV, somehow still feel that I am missing out on something everytime I am in Malaysia for CNY...this year that we are not spending it with my grandmother and auntie in KL....wonder how they would be celebrating...

Read somewhere that the Kite Runner is showing in Cinemas in Singapore, hope that I would have a chance to watch it. When I first read about what Assef did to Hassan, I thought that what he did was the greatest insult to a man….however, when I read on...the author wrote that been made to wear the green hat was the greatest insult to a man.

In today’s world, as people are coming out of the closet to admit that they let someone go through the back door….guess it is not considered an insult anymore…so far I have not had friends who admit it in my face that they do it…it is all still an open secret….

I always have so much to say about a simple hour... :P

The group of people I lunch with are considered the people who would welcome anybody...so everytime someone from overseas come along....they would be invited to join our lunch group if they want...

However, sometimes....I really don't understand why some people want to join our group and bring along their own big group...and then have conflicting ideas on where to go / what to eat....

Perhaps it appears that I was upset or that I think too much again....but I juz wonder what is on the mind of these people....
