Although we always go to Crystal Jade restaurants, I've never visited any of their Ginseng Chicken & BBQ speciality restaurants. Somehow, the impression I have of this speciality restaurant is that it is quite expensive...hence it was not worth-while to spend so much time to queue to eat there.
Today, since we were at the 4th floor of Centrepoint, we took a look at the menu, saw their S$10 set-lunch menus and decided to give it a try.
We ordered the 石头拌饭 and 泡菜汤 set menus and were given 6 side dishes...our verdict: nothing to shout about...not worth our time....

After going to this restaurant, we went to the dessert store along Temple Street and had a delicious sweet ending!

Guess it is evitable that all of us take people around us for granted...
A guy, once he is secured in a relationship, would take her for granted by neglecting her...concentrating on more important things like his job, his other interest etc..and may revert to a lifestyle where she does not exist...
A girl, once she is secured in a relationship, would take him for granted by being mean to him...throwing tantrums at him...pushing him to do things (he normally won't want to do)...
Wonder why we all treat our loved ones so...
How does one define an extramarital affair?

Overheard 2 married women discussing their friendship with 2 different men...the things they do, the presents they give each other, the conversations they have had...
They believe that what they have is just pure friendship, but they feel that a 3rd friend was getting too much into the relationship that she was having with another guy...
Wonder whether they know that a 3rd party listening to them would also question whether these 2 women have been unfaithful...
Do married women need such fawning from the opposite sex to feel that they are still desirable?
Perhaps I've been too narrow-minded...thinking that people should only marry for love. But what is love?
Is the love of money love? Is the love of beauty love? Is the love of power love? Is the love of fame love?
Yes, I've always thought that love is just love....but just like each of us like different colors, each of us love different things...we just have to choose someone who has the same wavelength as us...
Somehow, each time I pass a Ben & Jerry's store, I do not have the chance to stop and enjoy my ice-cream... either I'm too full, or the store is too crowded...or we would be rushing to go elsewhere...
At last, I finally have the chance to have ice-cream at Ben & Jerry's...to enjoy the music...we were lucky to grab seats before the crowd came..and before the band started...
It was a relaxing way to end the evening...

I think I have to continously remind myself of this...that there are all kinds of people in this world...and I can't control what they do...however, I can control my own feelings and how I react to others around me...hence I choose not to be a 小人! Even if others do not treat me as a true friend...I am still sincere!
Although I've read the Bible and have been told Bible stories since young..it didn't occur to me to relate the happenings recorded in the Bible to my daily life...perhaps I wanted to believe the Bible wholeheartedly, hence didn't question... perhaps I am just a typical girl...hence do not question the logic of nature....
But thanks to GM, it has been shown to me that many things recorded in the Bible can be evidenced by what we know in history / nature. In addition, after we read the Bible, we should reflect on ourselves..how we would react if we experience the same situation..
I'm always on the lookup for shoes...shoes that are nice and comfortable are hard to come by...and when they do cross my path...they seem to wear out very fast and the search begins again...
Have been on the lookout for shoes for some time...perhaps because I am choosy.... all the shoes in the store didn't interest me...and then...all of a sudden...my eyes brightened and last week...I bought 2 pairs of shoes on Tuesday and 2 pairs of shoes again on Saturday...now all of a sudden, I have 4 pairs of new shoes!!!! Hopefully, they would last me for some time!
