M suggested going to this restaurant since both of us have not tried it before. It is supposed to be Korean style. I ordered the Korean Charbroiled and requested for the fries to be changed to potato.
Alas, when my food was served, it was still fries...and I requested for it to be changed to mashed potato again. When I finished with the 1st piece of chicken, everything was still ok. Only when I started on my 2nd piece of chicken, I realised that it was not well cooked and some parts were still bloody!
Requested for the chicken to be re-cooked, my dish came back with the potato and salad replenished. Ok...some points added.
Next, we saw that the next table sent back their dish cause the fries was cold! Then, I saw that the waiter used a table cloth to clean a plate (so that presentation is clean) and then, the manager used it to wipe his hand!
Think it would be some time before I next patronise this place.
When most ladies were at home, in charge of the household, looking after babies...she, a high school graduate, was being trained as a nurse, but performing work as a doctor...she had already bought her own car and started her own mid-wife business...she really is a woman beyond her time...
Although her formal education ended at high school, she never ceased to learn...and became so much wiser than so many of us...perhaps getting older, really makes one wiser...(although I believe this may not be the case all the time!)
At her wake, my aunt said that she woke at dawn everyday to pray for others and to read the Bible for 2 hours...no wonder she was so wise! At her wake, so many friends came, and were willing to remain standing as there were insufficient seats...so many friends were crying together with us, her descendants....she really is an amazing woman!
Although she was in pain, during these last months, she continued to encourage others...at her wake, so many people were full of praises for her, and were glad to have a part of her, through her gifts of quiltwork....
My grandmother, is now with the Lord, and I hope that I would grow to be half as wise as her one day...and that I would touch as many lives....
