While walking along East Coast Park in search of BBQ Pit G75, I saw these sandcastles in the sand...din't know that there was such an event....hence feel that it's so fortunate that I managed to chance upon them and ...and even the pictures taken with my mobile phone turn out quite nice too....

Wonder why I was so careless to miss seeing the map that the organiser has so painstakingly searched for and enclosed with the email....so ended up walking 1.5 hrs...from the bus stop opposite Mandarin Gardens, along the underpass, pass the cable ski lagoon, the food centre, Bedok jetty, the outward bound school before I found them....at the extreme end of East Coast Park by the National Sailing Centre.

This is the first time I walked so much along East Coast Park alone....I kept on thinking that I was reaching....and didn't want to take a cab....thinking that I can enjoy the walk....ignoring PG's advice that I should rent a bike.....with my bags getting heavier, I kept on walking....the silver lining was seeing these sandcastles.....I used to be crazy over powdery white sand ....even have a collection of bottles of sand from Sdyney, Pulau Redang, Bintan...
