Familiar stranger's thoughts

To fulfil her responsibility of 大嫂, my sis-in-law wanted to make sure that I try 鼎泰豐in Taiwan. The day before, she had called to check the opening times to ensure that we will be amongst the first to reach so that we do not have wait in the queue. Lucky me, finally have the chance to try 鼎泰豐in Taiwan. Last LNY, we also attempted to go to 鼎泰豐, but it was closed during the LNY period. There are 3 branches of 鼎泰豐in Taiwan, 信义店, 忠孝店 and 复兴店. We went to the 信义店...

Do you know that there are more branches of 鼎泰豐 in lil'Singapore, compared to Taiwan?

Was still feeling very full when we went to 永康街 to have ice at Ice Monster (冰廠)...we had the mixed ice with strawberries, kiwi fruit and mango jelly cubes (mango is not in season now)...somehow still managed to find some space in my tummy for ice... hee

大嫂 also wanted to bring us to eat 台南's famous 担仔面 at 度小月...along the same street...whilst waiting for the restaurant to open at 1130, we went browsing in a boutique and I managed to find 2 sweaters...hee...this was quite a fruitful day...

Although still feeling very full, the 担仔面 still tasted very delicious! Just discovered that 度小月 has its own website! http://www.iddi.com.tw/

To walk off our bursting stomachs, we went shopping at 博爱路, where there are some boutique outlets...didn't manage to get any clothes...however...I managed to grab a pair of shoes..hee hee

To complete our Taiwan experience, we tabao oyster mianxian...my favourite...this time, 大嫂 suggested we try the one near their place call 油庫口..it taste very good with alot of oysters...(which we don't eat)..it really is good enough to complete with 阿忠's 面线!
