Another surprise that we had instore for the birthday girl ...an idea of another friend...was a scrapbook with input from all her friends...so we went about sending emails out to request for input and also to meet up to plan what to put in the scrapbook...after a few weeks of planning, choosing of photos...etc....we finally managed to complete the scrapbook with different pages collected from all her frens...and then bind them all together...
On the day of the event, we went to her place to pick her up...she was still unaware cos we brought her to a neighbourhood...Macdonald's @ AMK Ave 10...she was quite surprised to see all her friends clapping for her entrance....and then we played some silly childish games...and presented her with the scrapbook...that's when she was so touched that she wet her eyes....
It was worth it to see that she was really touched and really enjoyed the company of all her friends from different parts / time of her life ...and she told us that she really felt loved by all the effort that we put in to celebrate her birthday before she gets relocated....
Anyway, I feel that we all need some goal...to work towards...now that the event is over...must start searching for new events ...
