Decided to test out the newly installed GPRS ...so keyed in my street name to see which route we should take. Soon, we realised that it instructed us to go via CTE, then exit Moulmein and connect to PIE...when we usually would take AYE, which is actually my preferred choice as it is straight and easier to drive along....
To test the system further....we decided not to listen to instructions to see how the GPRS would react...sure enough it soon told us to make a U-turn. Guess the software has been written to select the expressways if possible....
Verdict: The system in France is more intelligent....and can react very fast when it detects that we have deviated from the chosen route...
