I guess I'm too jaded...to be drawn into discussions ...have been chatting with 2 colleagues who commented that Singaporeans are YES people...are bootlickers...are people who like to throw their weight around when they can.
I didn't want to be drawn into the discussion bcos I always feel that there are 2 sides to a coin. Your story and their story.
Of cos there are ugly Singaporeans as there are ugly people from all over the world. Of cos there are imperfections in Singapore as there are imperfections all over the world.
I belong to the skeptical group, so what if I win this discussion? We r all entitled to our own opinion...sometimes there are no absolute rights or wrongs, juz difference in values, viewpoints. So what if I stand up for my opinion? What u choose is beyond my control.
