Can't remember whether I wrote this on the blog before... but somehow this book by Paulo Coelho came to mind recently. This book inspired me to Carpe Diem! Well, for those who have read the book, it is about prostitution. So, NO! it is not the theme that inspired me :P but a phrase that went like:

It is easy to have dreams if you are not forced to live it, then u can blame others for hindering you in achieving your dreams.

Indeed, many of us complain about our current situation, predicament, but refused to move on. We feel miserable about our jobs, our lives, etc, but do not have the courage to do something about it. Instead, we become green-eye monsters and resentful of others. We forget that we are the cause of our own misery for allowing ourselves to be in the situation, because we do not have the courage to move on.

After reading this book, I decided finally to throw in the towel...altho I sometimes wonder whether it was the right thing. But so many years have passed, and I believe that I gave myself freedom from that job then and kept some part of myself alive.
