In the movie Priceless (Hors de prix) , Irene (Audrey Tautou) tells the male lead Jean (Gad Elmaleh) that whether he is good looking or not is not important. But charm is essential.
Quite true, cos although the male lead is not particularly good-looking, he sorta endears himself to me at the end of the movie.
A hilarious scene of the movie was when Irene told Jean that he is not getting enough gifts from his female companion and then she broke his watch (cos the alarm kept on going off). The next scene shows that his female companion buying him a watch that costs 30,000 Euros with diamonds on the bezel and then he went on to show it off to Irene. And when she asked for the time. Instead of saying like past 9 o'clock. He said that it was 9 diamonds past.

yes...that scene is still vivid in my mind...n after that, she broke her own watch, hoping to get an expensive one too...
i also remember the scene he drove his scooter to meet irene...funny indeed...
