My new company issued me a notebook so that I can use it when I travel....however, although the boss requested for a light notebook...the model "light XXX" is actually a notebook that weighs more than 2kg. With the additional weight of the bag, plus the power source...the transportation of the notebook really caused me much anxiety and discomfort...the ache is what I think is termed as tennis elbow....
After a number of days of going home almost on the dot (to catch the company transport) and not bringing the notebook home to do work at home....my boss finally decided to arrange for a change of notebook for me to another lighter-weight model. Yippee!
However, if I need to bring the notebook around when i travel, I decided to get a notebook haversack.....so began my search for a small, padded notebook haversack that is also ok to my wallet. Here is a list of bags that I've seen so far in my 2 days of search:
1. Muji - $59
2. Samsonite - $88
3. Antler - $145
4. Arnold Palmer - $39
5. Hedgren - $147
6. "Turtle brand" - $145
Before my search, I asked around to get a feel of the price of the notebook bags and I realised that most paid around $90- $120 for their haversacks....
So I was not surprised to find that the haversacks..esp those that are both padded but still light-weight abit on the expensive side.....my personal fav is no. 5...except that the price is not ok...I will most prob get no. 2 as it is a balance between comfort and price....
